Guwahati Arrival → Kamakhya → Shillong
Pickup from Guwahati airport/station. Visit Kamakhya Temple (Shakti Peetha), then drive to Shillong (~120 km / 4 hrs) with a sunset stop at Umiam Lake. Hotel check-in and overnight in Shillong.
Shillong Local Sightseeing
Full-day Shillong tour — Laitlum Canyon viewpoint, Shillong Peak (1,966 m panorama), Elephant Falls, Wards Lake paddleboat ride and evening at Police Bazaar for shopping and Khasi street food.
Mawlynnong → Dawki
Drive to Mawlynnong (~80 km / 3 hrs) — Asia's cleanest village. Walk to the famous Living Root Bridge. Continue to Dawki (~30 km / 1 hr) by the India-Bangladesh border. Overnight in Dawki.
Dawki → Krangsuri → Cherrapunjee
Morning boat ride on the crystal-clear Umngot River. Visit Krangsuri Waterfalls (turquoise pool — bring swimwear) and the Indo-Bangladesh border viewpoint at Tamabil. Evening drive to Cherrapunjee (~80 km / 3 hrs) for an overnight stay.
Cherrapunjee Waterfalls → Guwahati Drop
Visit Nohkalikai Falls (India's tallest plunge waterfall, 1,115 ft), Seven Sisters Falls and Mawsmai limestone cave. Post-lunch drive to Guwahati airport (~150 km / 4 hrs). Tour ends.

📝 Travel Note: Meghalaya gets rain almost year-round — carry a waterproof jacket and umbrella even in winter. ATMs are limited in Dawki and Mawlynnong, so withdraw cash in Shillong before heading further. Trekking-friendly footwear recommended for waterfalls and caves.
